Title: Setting label visibility.
Post by: skiwi on December 02, 2009, 12:58:58 pm
In the diagram properties dialogue it should be possible to set, for all connectors in the diagram,
the same visibility as can be done individually (and painstakingly) for each connector.

I'd like to see this on the Connector tab or the diagram properies dialogue.

The problem, Simon, is that (as far as I can tell at present - build 850) EA has no concept of selecting more than one arc on a diagram at a time.  You can select multiple vertexes, but not multiple arcs.

Yes, I agree, arcs are 'second class citizens'.
Perhaps I am really asking for arcs to be treated much more the same as other objects, selection, formatting, movement, properties, methods in general.

I see two requests in this thread. The OP was asking for improvements to the Diagram Properties dialog, and the next two posts are asking for multiple selection of connectors. Both good suggestions, but I'd go with the first one - much easier to implement.

Yes, but you'll need to allow partial selection.  Perhaps hook into the show visibility connector list so that we could pick which connectors to apply the settings to...
