Title: Import  BPEL WSDL
Post by: hsedidin on July 18, 2011, 07:40:24 am
Is there any way  to import a BPEL WSDL to generate a BPMN (BPEL) diagram?

A somewhat late reply, but I found the answer a while ago and I want to share it with you. From you execution XML (=BPEL) the tools are not able to create the according diagram. the key to answer your question is XMI (OMG's interchange format). If you can export your diagram from your source diagramming application into XMI then you can import your diagram to an other diagramming tool. You can then also conclude that every tool makes its own specific BPEL code and has other diagramming rules.

An Alternative here is BPMN v2 XML. If your process engine supports BPMN v2 then you can use Sparx v9.x BPMN v2 XML import/export.
