Title: 9.0 whiteboard diagrams
Post by: skiwi on June 13, 2011, 09:26:15 am
Some initial feedback

How, yes how, do I get the name, alias, or notes appear in, or beside, the new shapes and arrows that are available?

Its great to have arrows that are not connectors, but how can we rotate them to an arbitrary direction, surely this could have been available from the start?

Can we connect the callout arrow to a shape, or rotate it to sides, top, etc?

How do we fill them?

A partial answer. There are properties settings for shape (but not thin arrows ?!?) name and fill

Can fill the background of a text box.

A circle, for example, does not honour the fill colour if it is a whiteboard diagram (see Diagram Properties), I guess that's by design!

So, unlike on a whiteboard or hand drawn diagram where you have huge flexibility these diagrams are highly constrained
v11 - pretty much a big fat no
I guess that means no one else would find this useful.
