Title: Reporting: more meta-data on HeaderFooterCoverPage
Post by: PeterHeintz on November 21, 2014, 07:25:49 pm
Generated documents typically require meta data to be inserted also on cover pages and footers and footers.
With “Report  Constants” and “Project Constants” there is already some limited functionality available, however if e.g. document classification, document numbers, … are needed the templates have to be duplicated (what is a nightmare  when maintaining lots of documents).
Possible solutions:
Allow to call template fragments within cover pages, headers, footers that will really be executed.
Or
Allow to access tagged values (meta data of the report) from the report root package via  “Report Constants”  at any place in any kind of template.
