My HTML reports show blurred diagrams (both text and lines).
I have included an example below of how my Web report diagrams look like.
I have tried many different combinations of settings (Image Format in html report window; Scale Saved Bitmaps to %; Image Memory Limit MB; Renderer; GDI Plus Meta-files; Scale view by %; Anti-aliased text; Compress text to fit within Element; Clipboard image format; ...)
But I have not found the cause of the poor image quality.
So please anyone - help :-) What are the important settings and their values for geting proper image quality og diagram images in Web reports
(I did see http://sparxsystems.com/forums/smf/index.php/topic,25943.0.html - but that did not help me.)

Svend,
I'm looking at the image you posted, but it looks crystal clear to me. ???

Even if you compare the text in the image to the text (html) in the post?
-
Yes,
I would even say that the text of the forum is slightly blurrier then the text in the image.

Great Geert,
can you please send me 400 clones of your Workstation ;D
Ok back to serious: Unfortunately the workstations, I have tested this on presents blurry diagrams where the clean HTML text is sharper than the diagrams.
Are there more people out there - how does the diagram present itself on your workstation?

The graphic looks fine on both my monitor. If you're running on a recent version of Windows the resolution options for your monitor should have one with "(recommended)" next to it. Make sure you're using that one and not another choice with a different aspect ratio. If you're running your monitor in the wrong aspect ratio it will cause distortion in text on images.

Suggest also look at which app is rendering the html.
A client I work at recently rolled out IE11 as part of their 'standard operating environment'. Result was some SharePoint wikis now look really messy - all the sanserif fonts spaced/kerned poorly, and some images scaled in very imaginative ways.
I just saved your PNG - in the client environment, it appears to be very sharp in 'Windows Photo Viewer' and slightly blurred in 'IE11'.

Same here, crystal clear in Firefox.

Thank you very much everyone who took time to respond to this.
I'm still not happy with the image quality - and yes, I realize that it is an image and not vector graphics - but still.
But, at least I now know that it is not because I have set op options that affects the image quality negatively compared to what is to be expected.
My screen resolutions on my own workstations screens are "2560 x 1600 (recommended)", and I have seen it on several other workstations as well.
But again - I am impressed with your willingness to take time to respond, thanks a lot guys :)

With your Windows | Control Panel | Display options - do you have this set to another Size for Items - not 100%.
If so, try setting it back to 100% and check for any difference.

Thanks, Dermot - only saw your message just now. - However, it was set to 100%.
