Title: Charts not working, just black box

Have problem with charts, there is no chart rendered, not in properties, not on the diagram, and also not in the documentation.
I have EA 12.1 Business Edition, running on Windows7 64Bit..

Can u help me?

DaHopi, I got the same issue, and the same version and license.  I follow one of the tutorials and still get the same black box.

Very bad... i am still in contact with ea support, but theres no solution at present...
Is there anybody with working charts?
If i got news i will post it here..

I would like to generate charts also, can you please tell me what example you use and why it does not work?

Use Excel, that tool is much better at creating charts  8)

In terms of the original issue, the only situation that I am aware of that this happens is when direct 2d is disabled.

Yes, Excel is more practical for creating generic charts, but a lot less so when you're trying to chart the current state of your model. (Unless you're very proficient with automation)

Hi Simon,

I have the same issue. Black Chart. Windows 7 Enterprise Edition, Service pack 1.

At home it runs.

Where can I see that direct 2d is disabled or how to enable it. I've googled a lot - without success.

I don't know if this is coincidence: The V13 shows tree lists (like the browser and selection lists) from time to time as black boxes where just one selected element is visible. Working on Parallels/XP.

I just noticed that there is a fix upcoming for the Project Browser under XP showing black boxes.
