When will EA be updated to support the Archimate 3.0 standard?

Well, such questions you have to ask Sparx directly rather than this forum.
However I assume you will only get an answerer when this feature is clearly scheduled by Sparx.

Actually it does, but just not in a manner you are satisfied with.  Obliviously Sparx has to take the specification and pull it apart and then code the new MDG.  That's going to take time, and is also going to need to be fitted around everything else they're doing, and I'm not sure if you've noticed they're in the process of getting a new version out the door.

If you feel you deserve the new MDG now you can always write one yourself.  The tool empowers you to do that.  At least one forum member did that for Archimate v2.0.

Archimate 3.0 is included in the beta 2 of V13
