Title: attributes not visible on shapescripted elements
Post by: stao on September 19, 2010, 12:23:07 am
hi i want to define a new design for a specific stereotype of class elements. the design looks very well but if i create attributes or methods on a element of this stereotype the attributes and methods are invisible.

is there any possibility to show the attributes and methods?
( drawnativeshape() is no solution because i dont want the name of the object shown on the element )

Yep. Me again. How nice it would be if the rendering machine would be fully programmable (either by external code or by having complete access to the API). This is the price you pay by not paying the price... EA is cheap. Which doesn't explicitly mean worthless. It has a lot of features you can use to customize it. But soon you recognize its flaws, limitations, inconsistencies etc. I can imagine that EA could be a perfect tool but I also know that this time will never come (in my life). That I know from experience. I'm a rather old beginner.
