Title: Problems with MDG file import

Hey,

I've created a MDG file containing a UML profile, some images (which are used to visualize my profile's stereotypes) and a custom toolbox page profile.

When I import the MDG file manually via MainMenu -> Tools -> Import Technology everything works except of the custom toolbox page: Instead of using my toolbox page EA automatically creates a toolbox page containing all my stereotypes defined in the UML profile.

According to that post I added the path to my MDG file via MainMenu > Settings > MDG Technologies > Advanced > Add > Add Path. When starting EA the MDG file is successfully loaded and my custom toolbox page is available but now all the images defined in the MDG file are not imported and my custom stereotypes are not rendered correctly in my diagrams.
When I import the same(!) MDG file manually again (see above) the images are available.

It seems that I'm facing two problems: when automatically importing my MDG file, the images are not imported correctly. When importing my MDG file manually the toolbox profile is not imported correctly.

Am I missing something? I'm using EA 8.0.864.

You have accurately described the problem that existed until version 9. Version 9 allows images from technologies distributed in the recommended fashion.

Ok. Thanks for your quick response. Is there any work-around available for Version 8?

I would recommend separately importing the images.
