EA allows links to Diagrams in Linked document.

And I quote

Linked documents are intimately associated with specific elements, but you can also create hyperlinks in the document directly to other elements in the model. Having followed the link, you can perform any normal operation on that element.
Similarly, you can create new elements or diagrams to link to.
It would be even better if rather than just a hyperlink to a diagram the actual diagram itself could be included and updated in the linked document each time the document is generated.
Thoughts?

I think from a readability/usability perspective, being able to display the latest version of the diagram in the linked document makes a lot of sense.

There is a diagram image hyperlink type now, except in a generated document it acts the same as a regular diagram hyperlink.

I don't know exactly all the situations it's replaced. I've only used it as part of a notes field.
