Title: Is there a way to install Sparx Systems Keystore Service on Linux server?
Post by: mariom on December 08, 2016, 11:30:08 pm
Hi.

I read system requirements for Sparx Systems Keystore Service and it seams it can be installed only on windows OS.

I just wanted to doublecheck if there is really no solution for Linux?

Best regards.

I'm told that it's possible to run under Wine, but I don't know the details.

Hi,

There is an upcoming Webinar (Dec 13) on "Installing & Using Enterprise Architect in Non-Windows Environments."
That should address this issue. It will cover how to "deploy the necessary software components," and Wine and Linux are featured.

Just to be clear though, the upcoming webinar is primarily focused on installation of Enterprise Architect itself under WINE.  I don't think it will be covering installation of keystore or cloud services (at least not as far as I know).

Yes, I can't see any reference to the keystore in the background document for the webinar:

This does, however, refer to installing the Cloud Service.
