Hi,
I'm working on a SysML activity diagram and cannot achieve the following:
- I created an action of type callbehaviour and selected an activity -> is there a way to display the classifier i.e. the activity name or does it require an enhancement?
- I created action pins and set the direction as input & output for each. Is there a way to display the direction with an arrow? (it's available on other SysML tools)
Thanks,
Guillaume

Hi Guillaume,
regarding Activity name in Call Behavior Action:
- Start, Preferences, Preferences, Objects, Show invoked Activity name
Kind regards,
Helmut

It works, thanks Helmut!
Note: this option is only available in EA13

Hi Guillaume,
If I understand correctly, now we can not show an arrow in ActionPins.
In UML and UML4SysML, the arrow notation is optional and not mandatory.

The „show invoked activity name” option is only available in V13, because before V13 the classifiers had been shown in any EA version. In V13 this was changes to comply to SysML spec. Now you have to tick the option to get something that is really useful but does not comply.
Sowing the direction of ActionPins would be very useful as well but is not implemented. We might need a feature request.

I submitted the action pins direction as a feature request.
I think it would combine well with BDD/IBD where ports direction is shown provided flow properties are used.
Thanks
