Title: Conectors in activity diagram
Post by: zyx on April 29, 2017, 05:56:29 am
Hello,

Someone knows how to put a conector in the activity diagram. I saw examples of a circle or a square with a letter inside to referenciate another part of the diagram, but I don't discover how to define it.

You can try placing a Diagram Gate (under Other/UML/Interaction).

Hello,

as far as I know there is no possibility in EA to make such a connector.

Class Diagrams have the possibility of to 'virtualize connector end' (Right Click on the connector).

I think there are some threads in this forum. You may search for them.

Kind regards,

Helmut

Virtual connectors are used if you place an element more than once on a diagram. This will create sort of a ghost element along the virtualized connector.

You may be looking at the "suppress line segment" functionality.

Make a connection between two objects.

Add a couple of new points on the line (bend line at cursor).

Right click on the segment and select "Suppress Line Segment"

The text that appears in the boxes is the name you have assigned to that association.
