Title: Status for connectors
Post by: Paolo F Cantoni on May 02, 2017, 05:12:43 pm
We're starting to miss being able to set a status on a connector.  For the moment, we are going to use a Tagged Value, but if it was a native function (and in particular, have a shapescript have access to getStatusColor()) that would be useful.

Sounds like a good idea. Theres been a couple of times I've needed that status on connectors too.

Since that would (likely) result in a database change, chances are higher for the last decade of this century to see the light for this one.

They could use one of those manifold fields.

Another way around the problem is to allow the GetStatusColor() query to have a parameter - which would be the value objected from the Tagged Value.

It's been submitted as a Feature Request - no ID yet.

In the (apparently VERY) unlikely case that Sparx changes the DB table, can we also add Created and Last Modified Timepoints?

Paolo

PS: Should I make this a separate Feature Request?
