hi guys.
I have recently been switching from EA 8.0 to 13.
in v 8 I was able to freely rearrange any number of interfaces connected to a port (this relates to a kind of component view). now in v 13 this seems to be somewhat limited. I have already found the option to resize my ports (context menu -> 'Advanced' -> 'Port Size Customizable'). but I still cannot move (reposition, reorder) the multiple interfaces sitting on this port.
has this functionality vanished or have I simply not (re-)found it yet?
kind regards,
Carsten

Out of curiosity I tried with 9.3 and was not able to move the interfaces. I even can't remember this was ever possible.

I am quite sure is was possible before.
actually there would not be much sense in manually resizing the ports (which IS possible) if I was not able to then move the interfaces around on the resized port...
2 reasons why I would like to do this:
- default disance between 2 interface representations is quite near. makes it difficult to easily match an interface description to an interface at first glance
- reordering is even more important because the dependency/usage connectors from different service (interface) consumers crisscross each other all over the place. right now the only possible sequence of interfaces is that in which I have added them in the first place.
compare this to the degree of freedom I have when assigning the interfaces directly to the component instead of the port...

The question of whether something makes sense never was much in focus with EA...
