Title: Dialogs very slow to appear

I am running EA version 13 on a Lenovo T560 (high-end) with 64GB RAM. EA is NOT running in compatibility mode. The machine is effectively idle, yet every pop-up dialog takes 5-6  seconds to appear. It's driving me nuts! Any suggestions on speeding things up?

Are you working on a local model?

This is definitely not normal. EA is usually very responsive, especially when using a local .eap model.

Remote repositories are known to slow things down a bit.

If nothing helps you better contact support. They might have an idea of what is causing it.
