Dear all,
Is there some way to transfer a message to another lifeline? I can do it between target lifelines but I can't exchange a message between source lifelines. Is it possible?

Right-click > Advanced > Set Source and Target

Or - it's just very fiddly. Select the message, click near one end and then with a tricky move you hold the end to drag it elsewhere. Works like with normal connectors but much more difficult in SDs.

With qwerty's approach you'll improve your fine motor skills as well. If you click in just the right spot when the cursor changes to a little arrow you can drag the end of the connector to another line, but if you are off just a bit you'll select the lifeline, not the message and you have to try again. It's a little easier if you zoom in to the drawing.

Thank you, it worked. I tryed the first solution I do not try the others, my motor skills are low...

I wonder why the click does not choose the previously selected object when the cursor is over its area, but evaluates new what object the user could have meant. If the message is highlighted, the cursor is shown as a little arrow - as opposed to the moving-cross-4-arrows - and I click, it is simply a fault that the lifeline gets selected.
It seems to be a usual problem in 2D drawing software to select a certain object in case the cursor area shows multiple objects on multiple - virtual - overlaying panes. My favorit solution to this problem is, to toggle throw the overlaying object with every click if the cursor has not moved. I would recommend this for investigation by Sparx.
