When I generate HTML reports for a given models, they display great in I.E., if I allow scripting. However, in Google Chrome I am not able to load the model, even though I have scripting enabled.
Any ideas on how to get my models to display correctly in Chrome? Maybe a setting change?
Thanks,
Chris

Chrome has known issues with the HTML reports generated by EA. See:
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=46139
No known workarounds at this time other than to use a different web browser.

Well, that was not the answer I was looking for but the clarification I wanted.
Thanks for the information!

Yeah, this is a real problem for me too.

To be more precise, I ONLY have problems with Chrome when viewing the model on the filesystem. If I publish the html site to an internal website chrome works perfectly.
I suspect its some sort of file system security policy in Chrome around xss attacks. (Guessing).

Have there been any updates to this issue. The 9.3.930 version of EA is still having this issue. Is this an issue with the HTML generated by EA? Or is it a Chrome issue?
Thanks,
Sam

6 years have passed, still no fix for this?

Please do not create zombie threads. If you have an issue can you please create your own post. Thanks.

Wouldn't it be preferable to resurrect old threads of the same issue than create a new one and clutter the fora?

No. This is a user forum provided by Sparx for users. You're complaining about a bug in the addins board not the Bugs and Issues board. If you're complaining about the issue with version 9 like the originally poster you're using a version 5 major versions and about a decade back. If you're not, you're being doubly as confusing.

Thanks, I'll open a new thread. Try and be less aggressive, it does wonders.

It's a mistake to read tone into written text. English as a language is pretty global and some native speakers use very terse dialects.
Also there have been a rash of people resurrecting old threads in the last week, including one person resurrecting multiple on the same subject. Which gets pretty annoying for the regulars.

The only work around I know off is
Open the properties for the Chrome short cut on the desktop
Modify the Target property so as to append the following the text already there
--allow-file-access-from-files
Save
Chrome should now open the generated HTML
