Title: Shared document sections and fragments in Documentation Templates
Post by: Modesto Vega on July 29, 2019, 10:17:44 pm
I am creating a number of shared static text document sections which are used by more than 1 document template, most of this sections belong at the Model level. I was planning to use fragments for this and use them inside the model tag. However, Sparx does not seem to allow the use of fragments outside the package tag.

Is this correct? Is this expected functionality?

Does this mean that any shared static text document sections need to go in the Cover Page template (or the the TOC template?

Hello Modesto.

I have the same problem as you; wanting to have common text for 2 or more templates. Did you find a solution?

I usually use linked documents for such purposes.

I did not find a solution, other than manually editing each document. But I did not try Geert's proposed solution, linked documents.
