Title: Swimlanes lose classifier when clicking on modify
Post by: Geert Bellekens on October 24, 2019, 11:19:56 pm
When I link a swimlane to a classifier, and then go back into the details of the swimlane using the Modify button, the link to the classifier is gone

Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a diagram
- add a swimlane (via Swimlanes and Matrix)
- link the swimlane to a classifier using the Modify button
- close the swimlanes dialog
- save the diagram
- Open the swimlanes dialog
- Select a swimlane linked to a classifier
- click on Modify
- Notice that the classifier field is empty
- Click on OK
- Notice that the swimlane is no longer linked to a classifier

Haven't we learned to not use swimlanes in favor of pools/lanes?

Yes, except in case you use the Activity Diagrams generated from use case scenario's..
You can regenerate a diagram with swimlanes without a problem, but you can't do that when using ActivityPartitions

Good grief. How good I did not use these UC scenarios. Just another reason, why xD

I actually like those structured scenario's. They force the modelers to keep it simple, and the generated activity diagram is pretty powerful to discuss the scenario with the stakeholders. It gets me a lot better feedback then simply using the scenario's in textual form.
