Title: Project Browser remains empty when connected to a "CLOUD - ORACLE" repository
Post by: hdcordes on November 26, 2019, 04:01:54 am
Hello,
in my Project Browser nothing is displayed when I connect to an "intra-company" CLOUD-ORACLE repository;
this does not happen when I use local repositories.
I had been working under WIN-7 until 3 weeks ago; then my laptop was freshly formatted and WIN-10 was installed on it.
After that I re-installed SPARX EA (13.5.1351), the same version I had used under WIN-7.
The "old" .eap files that contain the link data to those "intra-company" repository all have the same phenomenon.
I can see the "structure" of that repository when I try to export pieces of it, or under "Search --> Browse for Package".

Any idea how this could be "fixed" ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sounds like your laptop is missing the Oracle drivers.

Thank you !
I had an ORACLE Client 64-bit installed, so I removed it (EA is 32 bit), and installed the 32-bit client version.
No change.
I personally do not think that is the "root cause", as I can see the full structure of that repository,
e.g. under SEARCH --> Browse for Package

There is no such problem with the 15.x trial version !
I uninstalled my EA-13.5.1 and installed the 15.x TRIAL version;
with that version I can see everything agin in the Project Browser;
then I uninstalled 15.x TRIAL and re-installed my "licensed" 13.5.1 again,
and now I have the problem back ........
