I am desperately trying to get a PDF of my ArchiMate 3 diagram. Everytime I export it as a PDF, I get only 80% of the image - the rest is missing.
What I tried:
- Restarting the EA
- Changing the paper size to DIN A2, DIN A3, DIN A4
- Scaling to one page
- Printing the diagram using "Adobe Acrobat" and "Microsoft Print to PDF".
- Enabling the diagram border shows me that the diagram is IN the border. But when I export the diagram to PDF using "Publish->Print", the result is one page with the right part of the image missing.
I also find it very confusing that there are two editing options for the diagram size. First is "Design->Edit->Diagram" where I set it to "Scale to 1 page". Second is "Layout->Theme & Appearance Options->Diagram". Each seems to store individual diagram sizes. I set both to "DIN A3 landscape".
I get the same misbehaviour exporting BPMN 2.0 collaboration diagrams.
What can I do to get a full PDF scaled to 1 page out of my diagram?
Kind regards,
Timo
Environment:
Windows 10; EA 14.1.1427

Workaround would be to export to bitmap (Ctrl-T), paste into a Word document, and then save as PDF

Many thanks for your reply and the bug report link. After I reported the bug and tried the export the diagrams as PNG, the export works with the PDF print as well. I don't understand what changed to cause this positive effect, but I really hope I will never experience this again under time pressure.
Best regards,
Timo
