Support for DSN connection is being discontinued due to its poor performance.
If you already configured the Prolaborate database using MySQL DSN connection, please follow the steps to change the direct connection.
- Open Prolaborate Service Management.exe. (typically located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Prolaborate\ProlaborateServiceManagement)
- Select Manage Configuration.
- Click on the Database tab.
- Select the MySQL connection and entered all the required details.
- Click on Test Connection to ensure the connectivity is fine.
- Click on Save.

Hi,
Does it mean that we no longer have to create an ODBC DSN to MySQL for Prolaborate DB and that it's configured directly in Prolaborate Service Management?
Can you clarify that you still support MySQL for Prolaborate DB and how it's accessed from Prolaborate? Can you update the online installation guide accordingly https://prolaborate.sparxsystems.com/resources/documentation/installation-guide (https://prolaborate.sparxsystems.com/resources/documentation/installation-guide)?
From what version does
this apply?
Thanks

Hi Guillaume,
Prolaborate was supporting two kinds of connections - Direct and DSN. Only DSN support has been removed from V3.2.7.x. The installation guide has been updated already. Please have a look.
