I have purchased the "unified" edition of EA.
And then after uninstalling the demo version, downloaded the new version and installed it.
But I don't see the "develop" menu in the ribbon.
What could be the reason?
Anything more to be downloaded?
Do I need the MDG add ins also?

What are the first five ribbons you can see?
-
<Start|Design|Layout|Specialize|Publish|Construct>
-
You seem to be missing a couple of ribbons, and the last two you list are the wrong way round.
Try selecting the Start > Desktop > Workspaces > Ribbon Sets > Show All Ribbons option.
-
I don't see "Desktop" in "Start".
However in "Start" there is "Workspace" which has option "Show all ribbons" but on selection, it is not having any effect.

My sole requirement right now is to do code engineering.
Create classes with connected activity diagrams and then generate code in C# or Python.

Check your Perspectives. Ensure you do not have any customized perspectives set on:

Also check your MDG Technologies to ensure these are all enabled:
https://sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/15.2/modeling/manage_mdg_technologies.html
And check there is nothing set on:

Yes, thanks. Found it some time back after looking at the settings in the example file
