Title: Import UI mockups in EA

Hi

Is it possible to import UI mockups in EA? or do i have to create in EA itself? or i can link the requiremnts to the documents which has these mockups?

The mockups are either in .png or .jpeg format?

Use the Common/Image context menu (when you press space while a diagram is selected). Then you can import the image and link it (via trace) to requirements.

Maybe your version is too old? With V10 its in the Common submenu in the lower 2nd third. Alternatively add a boundary and use Appearance/Select Alternate Image from its context menu.

I am using version 9.3.

Where do I find that? In EA main menus or in the Screen Element?

Hi

Is simple:

1) Create an Extended - User Interface Diagram  
2) Add a screen from the UI Toolbox (or a Bounday like Qwerty says)
3) Right click - Appearance - "Apply image from Clipboard" or "Select Alternate Image"

Hi

Importing UI mockups was working until today...today when i tried importing...it is saying "Unsupported file types" while the image files are .png or .bmp files which it was supporting previously..

What could be the reason for this??

Maybe they aren't what they pretend to be. Have you opened them with a viewer?

its still giving me the error...i tried with other images too..thinking that ..that one particular image file could have been corrupted...
