Title: QEA and QEAX have new Repository.databaseType
Post by: Ian Mitchell on January 06, 2022, 01:20:15 am
Those who are looking at using the new QEA and QEAX databases for their repository, please note that there is a new 'RepositoryType' called "SL3" .
@Sparx please can this be added to the enum list of repository types in the automation documentation:
(V 15.2 version is at https://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/15.2/automation/repository3.html)

For naughty people who run SQL against the EA repository...
It looks like this repository type seems to behave in the same way as PostGreSQL, from the point of view of modifying the SQL: columns names come back in mixed-case.

QEA and QEAX are new in V16.0 so perhaps you should reference version 16 help.

It looks they have SQLLite mentioned in ConnectionString but not 'RepositoryType' so well spotted.

Awe that's a bit harsh labelling them at "naughty". Thanks for the heads up though.

Happy new year. Lets hope its better than last year.
