You'll have to explain what "in many cases" means along with what you are expecting and what you're seeing.

That's kind of why you need a post body...

Well Eve many cases mean many cases.
It is very seldom that it works form me.
Often the problem comes because of childs are not copied like e.g. ports in ports for SysML IBDs.

Use copy diagram all the time and seems to work fine.
Use archimate not sysml though.

Well that might be but for my diagrams it only work if I have simple diagrams with no child elements. And typically I have childs.
