Hi,
I am unable to connect EA with DOORS database for MDG link.
I goto 'Connect External Projects' then Select 'DOORS' but the window pops up stating 'Please open DOORS database'.
Can it be because I have different login credentials for EA and DOORS but I can't sync both as DOORS DB login credentials provided by customer and EA login credentials are same as my system login credentials.
System configuration:
Win 7 Professional SP1, 64 bit OS;
Enterprise Architect : Program version : 10.0.1006.
Rationbal DOORS web access, version : 1.4.0.5

You have to have the DOORs database you want to connect to open before you can connect to it.
Start DOORS
Open Database to connect to.
goto Connect External Projects
Select Database

You mention you are using EA and DOORS with different login credentials? What exactly do you mean? Are you opening them as a different Windows user account? Or are you just referring to the database login?
The DOORS database login not matching your EA model security login shouldn't matter at all, but if EA and DOORS are running as different Windows user accounts, that could possibly be a problem.

I have logged in to Rational DOORS Web Access and also have my model open in EA pointing to the package which should import DOORS data but when I try to connect to DOORS using Connect External Project : DOORS, a pop up window opens saying 'Please open DOORS database'.
What could be the reason for this? Is it because I access DOORS via web access.

MDG Link for DOORS requires the full DOORS client application to be installed on the local system. It is not compatible with DOORS Web Access.
