Hello Professors,

Is there any way to use / sync data from Power BI?

Thanks,

Yes there is.
Although this is a very generic question.
The connection to the EA repository depends on the type of repository you use.
In my case, I use a QEA file as repository and therefor I had to install a SQLite3 gateway for PowerBI to be able to connect.
For other types, it might be sufficient to use an OData connection type or connect to the EA database directly.

Hello ea0522
I understand from your post that you are able to import EA model metadata from *.qea file into Power BI
Would like to know if you are able to reverse engineer a Power BI data model into EA?  Thanks...

Hai Richard,

Not quite sure what you mean with:

I don't know the internal Power BI data model and frankly, I don't care ;)
To me this question seems as any other question on how to use EA to reverse engineer an application or handle a database model.
As in "How would you manage data model of application X as defined in database Y?".
And there should be more than sufficient manuals and tips to be found.
