Title: Auto-layout in IBD doesn't work

in most of the other diagrams in EA I can use the auto-layout features.

For some reason in an IBD i cannot perform an autolayout and the instances/parts will just be static.

Is there a setting I'm missing?

It takes a long time to move the blocks around.

You're missing nothing. Autolayout only works (rather) well on the first nesting level. Any nested (or atteched like ports) elements are not (or negatively) affected. You need to do that manually.
