Good morning all!
I am confused about whether it is possible to use Windows (Active Directory) authentication with the floating license server; please can anyone share how to accomplish this?
I am still confused after reading...
https://sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/16.1/the_model_repository/cloud_server_iis.html (https://sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/16.1/the_model_repository/cloud_server_iis.html)
“In version 3 of the Pro Cloud Server, native support for Windows Active Directory and OpenID single sign-on was added, providing a more integrated, robust and secure single sign-on methodology.”
However, it is not clear whether this independently applies to the floating license manager…

Define a group, then specify one or more active directory groups that map to that group.

Colin,
AD groups can be used as described in the link provided by Eve. In fact, you could even use more than ne group.

Colin,
Are you using the PCS license server, or the classic license server.
In case you are using EA the classic way (without PCS), you don't need SSO for the license server.
SSO can be used to log into your model, but is unrelated to the way EA gets its license.
