Hello EA experts,
I changed the default appearance of an element (as shown below)
https://ibb.co/3Cd9f3H (https://ibb.co/3Cd9f3H)
But I am not sure why it's not reflected in other diagrams (as shown below)

Thank you!

Something tells me you are using a legend element on the second diagram which changes the appearance of the elements.
-
Thank you, Bob for your response. I am not the one who created the second diagram.
I didn’t see a legend element on the diagram. But, I’ll check the diagram as soon as I’m in front of my machine and report back.
-
I have just checked the second diagram, and I do not see any diagram legend. I am not sure what prevents the new default appearance from being displayed.
-
your linked pict are empty / gone. So I just guess: you can set appearance for either just a diagram or for the entire model. EA does not make it easy to distinguish them.

Thank you, qwerty, for chiming in.
The 2 diagrams in the original post are still there if you would like to check them out.
When I hover over the "default appearance", a tooltip appears indicating that the default appearance will be changed in all diagrams. Please see the below screenshot.

Chances that the other diagram has a local overwrite for the global appearance...

Thank you, qwerty. Do you know how can I check/remove that?
-
In case someone came across the same issue. You have to click on Layout > Appearance > Reset Local Appearance

You can find locally overwritten appearance via scripting or SQL if you need to check that more often.

Thank you, qwerty, for the tip.
