Title: Oracle 8i

Hi , i'm new to this EA and I need to hook it on Oracle 8i repository. I've read in help files you can
hook it on Oracle 9i. Are there any known problems
using the db installation  scripts available for 9i on 8i?
Or any aother problem using 8i?

EA will not run on an Oracle 8 repository. Oracle 9i is the minimum.

Just out of curiousity (and it is not a complaint nor a request, just a curiousity, really), but why is that? What does EA require that Oracle 8i does not provide?

Oracle 8 does not support Access type inner, outer join syntax.
