Title: Using DataBase Builder with MS Dataverse repository (any success doing so ?)
Post by: Marc Lampron on July 09, 2025, 12:00:22 am
Hi all,

We would like Enterprise Architect to connect to an external database in a MS Dataverse repository and explore the Dataverse DB using the Database Builder or some other Enterprise Architect tool.

Is it possible ?
Does anyone had any success in doing so ?

The dataverse is a semantic layer and I don’t think it can reverse engineered, which is what the database builder does. Curiously, according to Microsoft, it can be explored/queried using SQL Server Management Studio.
