Title: Turn connector visibility off in other diagrams

I'd like to make sure that, when a connector is added in a diagram it does not appear by default in any other.
All I could possibly think of is to create an add-on triggered at creation time.
This seems a complex solution for a simple problem. Is there any other easier way?
