Title: Dokumentation out of Requirement or Use Case Diagr
Post by: mash1303 on June 08, 2004, 10:59:12 pm
Hi,
we designed our functional and non-functional requirements as a UML diagram, hoping that we can have these entries in prosa form by one button.  Until now, we didn't manage to get our requirements as an rtf documentation  :-[ . I think we'll have the same problem with the use case digrams. So, can anyone tell me how to get a rtf documentation of my requirement diagrams !? (Class diagram documentation was no problem at all)

Did you check that "requirements" is marked when documenting with F8? I do not have a problem with printing requirements. Also: what version of EA do you use?

Thanks for your response, but it seems like i know the problem. If you only put in an output filename in the documentation dialog without using the browse file button on the right of that input field, the documentation will only include the diagrams and no text. Maybe it's a feature .. maybe a bug. (Using EA 4.0 Build 727 on Win2k)

I tried that, but the result is okay for my EA, no matter whether I used the browse ellipsis or not. However, if it works now just put it to the mysteries that will not be answered  ;)
