Title: Automation Model as EA model??
Post by: jkorman on November 26, 2003, 08:46:30 pm
The subject sort of says it. Is there a "Automation".eap model that
can be used as a starting point for automation development.

That would be very useful - so here's another voice asking for it.

I thought there was pretty good documentation for access to the automation objects in the EA User Guide.  Where you looking for some other kind of documentation?

Information on Automation is here:

Link to documentation is here:

Happy with the plenty of documentation - just lazy enough to want an actual EAP model or XMI or XML or even csv file to import it!  ;)

I have a very old XMI file from Sparx with the automation objects, but I haven't been able to find a new version of it on the Sparx website.

I also think it would be very useful for when I design my addins in EA. I would like to be able to show relations and calls to the automation objects without having to create them all myself

Sparx, please release a new version of the model. Surely, you already have the entire design in EA  ;)
