Title: (BUG) - Stereotypes extending Port are fixed size
Post by: Svend Erik Nygaard on August 29, 2014, 12:34:08 am
UPDATE: Sparx has acknowledged this as a bug.

In my MDG I hav created some stereotypes extending the Port metaclass.
When we use these stereotypes, the elements are not manually resizable - just like original Port elements.
However, unlike the original port elements, these elements do not resize automatically when we add exposed interfaces to them.
Is there a solution to this (e.g. can I make them manually resizable or auto-resizable somehow)?

Oh yes, there is. But I can't remember how  :-[

Unless someone else is faster you should read the help again. It must be buried there. Not sure if you find the right thread here in the posts.

UPDATE: Sparx has acknowledged this as a bug:

"Our developers have confirmed that this is a bug and it is logged to be fixed. We cannot yet say when (in which build) the fix will be implemented."

"If necessary, as a current workaround you can right click the Port, select 'Port Size Customizable', then manually resize the Port."
