Title: How to add a tooltip for your menuItems?
Post by: Stenvang on September 15, 2014, 04:51:21 pm
I was wondering if it was possible to add a tooltip to a menuItem for your add-in?
I just want to pass a string to be shown when you hold the mouse over a menuItem.

You can't. I had some About menu entry at the end of the list. Not the same, I know.

Hmm to bad.
It just seem strange to me that one can't do that cause if I hold the mouse over one of the menuItems it shows the menuItemName as a tooltip, so I thought I could modify it somehow.

There's a recent feature request where one asks for configurable tool tips. Maybe you can join him.

Hmm I can't find the topic. If you know where it is could you please link me? Else it doesn't matter cause the tooltip is more a nice-to-have than a need-to-have.

This search here did not return any meaningful result. However, the shadowed Google group had a lot more (meaningful) search results. Looks like the Sparx forum search is now faster finding nothing >:(
