Title: BPMN connection to OpenText?
Post by: Kim Liddelow on September 15, 2014, 02:35:54 pm
Hello,

Is it possible to export a BPMN diagram (or possibly BPEL) such that it can be imported into OpenText's workflow tool - part of its enterprise content management system.

If it is possible, I'd appreciate a few sentences on how to do it and any add-ins needed. Also minimum version number of EA. We are still on 8.0 here.

thanks, Kimbo

Hi Kim,
APG offers a platform to move model content btw tools - see our website for ModelFlow, it does support starting with ver 11.0 though.
Plz contact me if you would like more information.

EA has supported BPMN export for a while, although compliance was improved with 11.1.

Go to XMI export. I can't remember if EA 8 will provide a list of formats or it has a publish button for the additional formats. Either way, you'll find BPMN there or it was introduced in a later version.

Thanks Simon et al for the quick reply.

I managed to export some XML. Waiting to hear if that works.
