Title: Replace the default cover page
Post by: Niels on August 21, 2015, 11:51:46 pm
Hi there

I'm trying to build a custom template in order to document an ERD model. The default template include way to much information so I need a more simple report.

Try as I might I cannot figure out how to replace the coverpage provided by default.

It cannot be edited (that is documented), however even if I try to create a fresh template from scratch the report keeps including the pesky default cover page :-?

I've tried to look at the videos and tutorials but they don't mention how to constuct your own coverpages.

Can anyone help with this?

Kind Regards

Niels

What release of Enterprise Architect are you using?

At the point when you produce the report, you have to select which template, style sheet table of contents and *cover page* that you require. Each of these 4 things are a drop-down list on the Generate Documentation dialog box. Simply select the cover page you want to use.
If the one you want isn't on the list, then switch to the template page (on the left of the dialog box) and press new. Choose 'Cover Pages' as the template type and create a new one.
