Title: call activity vs subactivity

I'm fairly new at UML and am trying to work out the difference between using a subactivity and a call action node that calls an activity (appears as an action node with the rake symbol in the diagram).

Can anyone help?

Hi PKD,

I'm a pragmatic who's plugging activities into activities. No one sees a difference besides the infinity sign. This I guess is unnecessary.
