Title: Physical Elaboration of a Logical Model

Hi.

I have created a Logical Domain model with entitites and their relationships.

Each of these Logical entities has related 1 or more physical tables which I am also modeling.

I basically want to have an 'overlay' style approach where I can lay the logical over the physical, or generate the physical relationships based on the logical relationships.

ERWIN would appear to allow this easy elaboration of Logical to Physical, but with EA it seems I can only approximate this with alot of manual work and organisation.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Have you tried transforming the logical model using the built-in DDL transformation facility of EA?

You can read about this feature under model driven architecture (MDA) in the User Guide
