Title: UML2 Composite Diagram: Association/Composition

It appears I can only model composition via a solid line Part/Class widget,
and not association via dashed line Part/Class widget, in the UML2 Composite Diagram?

Right-click a part and go to Advanced > Custom Properties. Set IsReference to True. Is this what you were asking for?
