Title: Loading version controlled project
Post by: Henrique Narciso on April 03, 2009, 08:56:51 pm
Hello,

We have a project in sqlserver and versioned controled with TFS.
I have a specific user that cannot connect to TFS, it just hangs there forever.
We can access the TFS repository via Visual studio, do all the operations(getlatest, checkin/out, etc).

He is using VS2008.

This is what we tried to do:
eliminate the local paths in EA.
reconfigured the version control settings to another folder.
- at first the error of not mapped apeared, after mapping was done, hanged again.

installed vs2005:
redirected VC to the new TF.exe
tried the conection, no sucess.

In the windows task manager the TF.exe process grows to 300 MB, the repository doesn't have that much info.

please help, rigth now i'm with no solutions

Thanks in advance.

Are you using TFS 2005 or 2008? and I am assuming he has permissions as a Contributor to the project? He is the only one that experiences the issue?

All TFS client updates applied?
