Hi,
I have developed some addins for my company in .NET.
I have also successully registered in on several computers, by installing Visual 2005 and recompiling them.
Deploying Add-ins on machines without Visual 2005 by copying them to EA root directory and running regasm (as described in another "Add-in installation" topic in this forum) seems to work, but starting an Add-in from within EA ends with a message-box stating:
"An error occured while attempting to communicate with an Addin:
ABG_Edytor (ABG_Edytor.Main)
"EA_MenuClick: Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040200"
Please contact the add-in provider for assistance.

The same add-in, recompiled on these machines, works fine. Can anybody give me a clue, what's going on ?

We have found a solution for this problem:
.NET programming support for Microsoft Word (or any other Office application) should be installed to run add-in using Office Automation Interface.
