Title: Scripting / Automating Reverse Engineering Process

Hi,

I would like to automated the process of:

- Creating a new EA project;
- Pointing it to a source directory (Java, lots of sub-folders with code);
- Reverse engineer all the code into class diagrams;
- Generate HTML documentation;

I have a vb.net app which I can pretty much do eveything except the reverse engineer part. Is there a way through the API's to do this? I can live with having the project pre-set to point at a specific code base.

The idea here is to automate the process of generating documentation once we have done a build.

Would you mind to read the posts about "roundtrip" here in this forum first before trying that approach?

Currently there are no automation calls for code engineering.
