Title: 856 EA CPU bound
Post by: skiwi on June 03, 2010, 08:21:34 am
I've go EA CPU bound after trying the Spring layout.
Has anyone seen something like this?

How can I capture some crash data for Sparx to diagnose, since it hasn't crash.

Where is that black box (http://www.sparxsystems.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1265316804) I've been wanting?

For reference, from support, if this happens to you.

Can you please let us know the steps to reproduce the problem (optionally including a model sample to reproduce it)?

For additional information you could download/install process explorer. (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx) as follows...

1. Double click on the running EA process.
2. Open the 'Threads' tab.
3. Then click the 'Stack' button.
4. Select full contents (click first item, shift click last item)
5. Click Copy.
6. Paste results into your reply.

The request for "steps" reinforces my suggestion for a "black box".
