I have a master document made up of several model documents.
In a model document I want to change the page layout (via the File | Printer Setup) menu in the RTL editor to Landscape.
To do this I need a section break at the start, and at then end of the template document (see image below). (Insert | Insert Break | Section Break)
When I do this the section break at the top appears (in Word) as a page break, and the consequence of this is that all model documents prior appear as landscape.
Has anyone had this problem, or can point me in the correct direction?

When generating documents in that way with a mix of landscape and portrait I edit the templates in MS Word adding section breaks in that and then import them into EA as templates. I've found in the past that investing time in using the built-in Editor does not bear fruit so resorted to doing all the formatting in MS Word.
The pattern I follow for creating such at document is that in the model doc templates I put section breaks at the end of the document. The template it self is set up to have either portrait or landscape layout. I usually do this to mix A4 portrait with A3 landscape so I can bind larger diagrams into a document. It seems to work ok if the master document and first model document templates have the same page layout such as A4 portrait.
Hope that helps. :)
Happy to walk you though it Simon if you want. Drop me an email or give me a call. Must admit haven't done it in V9 - we are still using V8.
