General Board / Re: Change requirement stereotype

To answer my own question.

You can't do it via the Properties dialog but you can do it via the Properties Pane.

General Board / Add branch to version control issues
« on: October 16, 2008, 10:59:41 pm »
When I select right-click/Package Control/Add branch to version control

Sometimes the version control system cannot add all the packages at that time. So EA stops on the first failed package. Leaving the successful packages checked in. This prevents the repeat of the command without first checking out each package first. Which take forever as you have to check out for each package one by one.

Can I make it continue and just leave the failed package as is?
OR
Can EA leave the successful packages checked out so that I can repeat the Add Branch to version control command until all are sucessful?

Hi,

We need to formally review the models in EA. We wish to:

  • Baseline the model so that everyone in the review works from a consistant version.
  • Identify what has changed since the last review.
  • Record Issues and Defects against the model during the review.
  • Create Change Requests for these Issues and Defects and track their progress.
  • Record the review took place and its outcome. Updating the status of the model as a result.

It seems that there is no common way to do this. EA has several features that would support some of it but it is not obvious how to use them together.

What are experiences of other teams?
How have you solved this common work flow need?

Cheers,

+Doug.
